Football Signups updated 5/7/08

Football signups are now being taken at Borough Hall. Please see Jennifer Fiorito in the REC department between 9AM-4PM, Monday through Friday. All children who are between the ages of 6 (as of August 1st) and 14 (as of December 1st), and who are not in high school are eligible to participate. The cost is $30 and includes ALL equipment with the exception of cleats and an athletic supporter/cup. Children who did not participate in the program last year or who are first year players will need a COPY of their birth certificate.

Trout Derby updated 5/3/08

The 16th Annual Trout Derby will be held on Sunday, May 18th from 9AM to 12PM at Rainbow Valley Lake on Doty Road. All Wanaque Borough residents between the ages of 5-18 (anyone 16 or older will need a valid NJ fishing license with a trout stamp) can participate. The lake will be stocked with over 450 trout! Catch one of the specially tagged fish, including "Goldy-the Golden Trout" and choose one of many great prizes! Be sure to arrive early to get your lucky spot!
