Over the years we have made it a point to acknowledge the hard work of our young student athletes. As coaches, we stress the importance of education over athletics and encourage the same dedication in the classroom as we do on the football field. We have a program called the Scholar Athlete Award. In order to qualify for this award, a student must meet the following criteria;
- All grades considered shall be for the first marking period of the 2007/2008 school year
- Individuals must have at least an overall “B” average
- Individuals shall not have a grade less than a “B” in any major subject
Students who meet the above criteria are awarded a “Scholar Athlete” patch at our annual Awards Banquet.
